not until the revolution. I would rather live in this country than any other but I do not need protection from myself. Making laws about seat belts etc. protects the stupid and the weak, negating the evolutionary process. I realize that this is not a politically correct attitude (i expect the thought police daily, lol). I would legalize all drugs also, put them in liquor stores and tax the begeezus out of them. It would cut crime, destroy the”mystique”and they would not be any more accessible than they are now. You cannot protect people from themselves no matter how many laws you make. Many of the laws to”protect”us are made at the behest of powerful (and rich) insurance lobbies. Many others are made to”save the children”(the parents responsibility–sorry folks but that is true). In the past few years there has been a huge upswing in the sort of law that is intended to enforce mannerly behavior (ie smoking regulations and pooper scooper laws) which should be enforceable merely by common consent (say some thing to the jerk!–yeah, yeah”he may shoot”you–I bet you can tell which ones will and which ones won’t). And the strippers in Ohio must be very poor since no one can get close enough to tuck money in their g-strings! Thanks for letting me vent! Good luck!
