Q & A

Did anyone see the student at John Kerry’s speech being tasered by ther police? More
Do you think it was police brutality or did he deserve it? And what ever happened to freedom of speech? Where did the land of the free go?
he wasnt starting anything or disturbing anyone.there was no reason to ask him to leave, but they did ask him,and because he didnt listen, the police would then have the means to force him out,but not arrest him,he gave them the ability to arrest them when he resisted arrest, that should be the only charge against him, there was no reason for the tasering…considering police have been specialy trained and couldve easily taken him down with out it.this whole thing was unfortunate, but thats what the”land of the free”has become.. its not gone completly..but its changed.
What Do You Think About The College Student Being Tasered At The John Kerry Speech?? More
Were the police right or was excessive force used? Opinions?
It’s a total disgrace! I feel sorry for the poor kid. He didn’t do anything wrong. He did not commit any crime. The whole thing is an outrage. He was not disturbing the peace - that was an open forum where people could ask questions. His crime was that he had the nerve to ask Kerry about his membership in Yale’s Skull and Bones society. This caused Kerry some embarrassment and distress, so the cops pounced on him. Plain and simple. The question he asked before they seized him was completely legit - why WAS Kerry in Skull and Bones and why is it such a big secret?! I’d like to hear Kerry’s answer to that myself.I am saddened that this sort of thing is happening more and more in our country. They had absolutely no right to arrest him or to use such brute force. It’s disgusting that so many people condone this and even find the situation humorous. People would not find it to be so funny if it was happening to them! It’s quite shocking and scary to be placed under arrest for no reason. But sadly, our freedom of speech has been under attack for quite some time and it is nearly gone. Why people are not completely appalled by this incident is really beyond me…

why did a kid get taserd
Because free speech has been revoked, and nobody cares. If John Kerry was any kind of American,he would have done something to make it stop. It must have taken a huge amount of pressure off him to have the kid silenced.
